About Us

Hello, my name is Jonathan Harms, owner and lead trainer for Apak Athletics. I pride myself on being different than the average, ordinary coach/trainer by looking outside the box for new and innovative ways of training my clients. My belief is that a strong, agile, and well-conditioned athlete will rise to meet the challenges placed before them. They do this driven by the confidence they have gained through preparation for the season ahead. By allowing each individual to find their inner athlete my clients go beyond their limitations. Through a consistent training regimen designed to enhance an individuals natural abilities; my clients have consistently found success.

             PERSONAL TRAINING

This is the staple of Apak Athletic training. We provide sport and non-sport specific training for individual clients looking to achieve their personal goals through intensive, focused work designed for the individual. We do not carbon copy our workouts as many one-size-fits-all trainers. Instead, we identify our client’s goals, create plans that pinpoint those goals, and then work to achieve them. We work on sport specific techniques for Baseball, Basketball, Football, Softball, and Track & Field. Our clients range in age from 12 to infinity and the only thing they need is a work ethic.

              SMALL GROUP

This is something I do weekly where I have clients come to do one-hour workouts in groups of 3 - 5 participants. This is a non-sport specific activity that is one hour of the most physically demanding work participants may come across. We do just about everything imaginable there from battle ropes, heavy balls, slam balls, tension bands, weight sled, Heavy tire flips, kettle bells, weight cage, mini hurdles, Box jumps, isometric exercises and anything/everything else I can think of to push them to their physical limits. I look to train individuals willing to test their perseverance. What it teaches them more than anything is how to reach their physical limits and to push their boundaries.

              TEAM TRAINING

One of our services is to come to team practice settings to work with large groups in their natural environments. We design workouts based on team needs, sport-specific, or endurance training. We run a number of variations using many items we would use in the gym like heavy balls, slam balls and mini hurdles but also cone drills, tension extension bands, and mini parachutes. We work with groups of varying sizes from 8 – 24 participants who desire to increase endurance, enhance athleticism, and have a great time doing it!
